- In a pan add little butter and then add paneer cubes. Slightly fry them till light golden.. take out and keep them aside.... You can also add paneer without frying...
- In the same pan add little more and add chopped onions. Fry until onions turn pink,now add chopped tomatoes and green chillies. Cook till the mixture is mushy and there is no water..
- Let it cool down and then grind into a paste..
- In the same pan add 1tbs oil and add jeera and tej patta leaves. Let them crackle. Now add ginger-garlic paste. Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder..
- Still the spices well. Don't burn the spices. Now add onion tomato paste. Cook it on low to medium flame till it start leaving oil..
- Now add fresh malai or cream.cook for 2 min. Add salt and mix well. Add garam massala..
- Add green peas and water and cook 5-7 min till the gravy thickens. Add paneer and kasuri methi. Cook for another 2min. Garnish with coriander leaves..
- Serve hot with tandoori roti, naan, paratha, missi roti..
- Steps for wheat flour naan. In a bowl take all ingredients flour, curd, salt, baking powder, oil, sugar. Mix well and knead into soft dough using water..
- Mix water as needed and make soft dough from it. Apply oil and cover the dough for 20-30 min..
- After 20-30 min punch down the dough and then knead for 5 minutes. divide the dough into medium sized balls and keep aside. Take one ball of the dough on a floured surface..
